``You can`t take an elephant on the bus
It would simply cause a terrible fuss``
A hilarious book about many animals from an elephant to a camel a whale and many more, are all trying to use the most unsuitable vehicles to travel and causing havoc. Each spread depicts a different animal trying to use a different mode of transport. Where the elephant is trying to ride on a bus, camel in to a sailing boat; The picture depicts a funny faced camel standing on a toppled boat with a lifesaver around it`s neck. And a tiger in a train and so on.
``Nor should a tiger travel by train...
Think of the panic. Think of the pain.
Tigers are built to spring and to leap
Think of the passengers half - asleep.``
Colourful drawings are laid in muted backgrounds, with animals always emphasized in sizable pictures. Imaginative and compelling , with quirky illustrations to match with the funny rhyming text produced in haphazard manner, which highlights the message. A book for kids to imagine and laugh out loud.
